Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgery/OR team on a full-time basis. You will provide patient-centered care for diverse surgical cases, supported by a collaborative rural facility with six operating rooms and an OB suite.

A commitment bonus underscores our appreciation for experienced OR nurses. Requirements include NC or Compact license, BLS, ACLS within required windows, and an ADN (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 1–2 years of Operating Room RN experience.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
