Job summary

Shrewsbury Surgery Center is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for per diem coverage in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. The RN will position, prep, and circulate during surgical cases across multiple specialties, with required state licensure and active RN status on file.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year OR experience, and hold BLS/ACLS/PALS as needed by the center. Per diem benefits include competitive hourly wages and comprehensive health coverage options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• 1+ year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.

Responsibilities

• Positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Experience in ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, and Urology procedures.

Operating Room Registered Nurse at Shrewsbury Surgery Center

The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides nursing care and service during surgical cases. The Operating Room RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, and Urology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• 1+ years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Pay Range: $55.00/hr - $57.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
