Job summary

Hagerstown Surgery Center is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to support sterile services and patient care during weekday operations.

The role serves adult and geriatric patients as well as pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence, across specialties such as gastroenterology, orthopedics, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology and general surgery. Requires RN licensure and at least 1 year as a circulator.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure.
• Care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
• Assist in the OR and perform circulator duties as needed.

Our scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery.

Pay Range - Min: $36.22 to Max: $54.33. (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
