MedStar Health seeks a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative care in a collaborative, patient-first environment. The OR RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for surgical patients, circulating and/or scrubbing across diverse specialties while upholding infection prevention and safety standards.

You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and allied staff, precept new team members, and engage in continuous learning and quality

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Circulate and/or scrub across diverse specialties during procedures.
• Uphold infection prevention and safety standards in the operating room.
• Document intraoperative events and support post-op handoff.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and allied staff.
• Precept new team members and engage in ongoing learning and quality improvement.
• Utilize advanced surgical technology as appropriate.

The OR RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for surgical patients, circulating and/or scrubbing across diverse specialties. Responsibilities include pre-op verification, intra-op monitoring, documentation, and post-op handoff, while upholding infection prevention and safety standards. RNs will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and allied staff, precept new team members, and engage in continuous learning, quality improvement, and use of advanced surgical technology.
