Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe perioperative care and support surgical teams before, during, and after procedures. The role focuses on preoperative assessments, intraoperative support, and comprehensive postoperative care within a fast-paced operating room.

The ideal candidate holds ADN or BSN, a current RN license, BLS certification, and has strong clinical and communication abilities to ensure patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and perform preoperative assessments.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
