Job summary

Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center seeks an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong OR nursing experience and current Florida nursing licensure, CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

The role requires adaptability, a solid understanding of aseptic technique, and the ability to care for patients from pediatric to geriatric age groups, with a commitment

Qualifications

• Current Florida Nursing License
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• BSN preferred
• CNOR preferred
• Strong operating room nursing experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to adapt quickly and collaborate with staff, physicians, vendors and public
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and pediatric to geriatric patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room
• Manage the operative patient and ensure patient safety
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient OR procedures

Required Skills:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Florida Nursing License
• Current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
• CNOR preferred
• Strong operating room nurse experience required
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, vendors, and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures
• Perform excellent management of the operative patient
• Understands principles of aseptic technique with implementation
• Ability to care for patients from pediatric to geriatrics
• Excellent standing with the Florida Board of Nursing
• Willingness to perform necessary downtime work
• Willingness to learn new tasks
