Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
• Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, caring for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Our surgery center is ajoint venture between Resurgens OrthopedicGroup andUSPI, the nation's largest provider ofsurgical services.
• We are currently searching for aPart TimeOR Registered Nurse to join our team.
• The OR Nurseis responsible for the nursing activities related to the care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure.
• The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 12 months through adolescence
• Current American Heart BLS/ACLS/PALS certification andexperience working as an operating room circulator are required.
• Ideal candidates will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
