Job summary

Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Per Diem Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse in Davenport, Florida. The RN PACU will provide quality patient care in the perioperative setting, following nursing processes and medical plans of care.

The role supports safe, family-centered care, adheres to policies, and reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services. Certification requirements include BLS, ALS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted Florida license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1-5 years' experience in PreOp/PACU preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state of Florida
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-5 years' previous experience in PreOp/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS, and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to the changing condition of the patient when needed
