Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review OR stock levels and fill supplies as needed.
• Communicate with SPD, Specialty Coordinators, and Materials Management when stocks are low.
• Distribute supplies and verify par levels in OR suites.
• Schedule surgical cases per department policy; relay changes to physicians and departments.
• Obtain patient procedure information and prepare cases for scheduling.
• Answer phones and monitor schedule for required authorizations.
