Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Surgical scheduling experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operating room schedules to maximize OR utilization.
• Collect required patient demographics, billing and insurance data in EHR.
• Block times and assign suites and equipment per guidelines.
• Reschedule surgeries to accommodate emergencies or unanticipated events.
