Job summary

MyMichigan Medical Group seeks a detail‑oriented OR Supply & Scheduling Clerk to maintain operating room inventories and coordinate case scheduling. You will work with the Purchasing Office staff, surgeons, and coordinators to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate case preparation.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, with preferred associates in business or medical fields, and strong knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred in business or medical field.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and operating room workflow is preferred.
• Experience with scheduling, office coordination, and basic computer tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Review stock levels in operating rooms, fill supplies, and notify leaders when par levels change.
• Schedule surgical cases, coordinate with physicians, offices, and departments for timely procedures.
• Answer calls, monitor schedules, and ensure accurate procedure authorization and resource allocation.
