Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced registered nurse to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating operations and patient care in designated areas. The role serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and may function as a staff nurse as needed, with delegated managerial duties as assigned.

Preferred candidates hold a BSN and have supervisory or management experience, with a strong rehabilitation background.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Must have a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice.
• Two or three years' experience required in patient care.
• Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes delegated managerial duties.
