Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience or five years in leadership in discipline or Master's degree with no additional experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for staff management, including interviewing, hiring, orienting, promoting, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Allocate and direct staffing needs across the Operating Room to meet surgical volume and emergencies.
• Manage unit performance by setting goals, clarifying expectations, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements.
• Monitor patient engagement, quality initiatives, and patient safety for the surgical environment, driving continuous improvement.
• Coordinate operating systems, standardization, and communication to align with policies.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, AORN, and applicable laws and standards for perioperative nursing.
