Job summary

CHI St Alexius Health Bismarck is seeking a Clinical Nursing Manager for the Operating Room to lead perioperative services, ensure patient safety, and drive operational efficiency. You will coordinate surgical staff and initiatives while maintaining high standards of care.

The role requires BSN, RN licensure in ND or compact state, and leadership experience with ACLS/BLS upon hire; masters preferred and CNOR encouraged. Sign-on and relocation are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for staff management including interviewing, hiring, orienting, promoting, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Allocate and direct staffing across the Operating Room to meet surgical volume and emergencies.
• Set goals, monitor progress, give feedback, and recognize achievements to align with organizational commitments.
• Monitor patient engagement, quality initiatives, and patient safety in the surgical environment.
• Coordinate operating systems, standardization, service standards, and communication to align with policies.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, AORN, and other perioperative standards.
