Job summary

USPI is hiring a Full-Time Operating Room Nurse Manager at St Joseph's Outpatient Surgery Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role oversees OR, anesthesia, and sterile processing, ensuring high quality patient care and compliance with facility goals.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, Arizona RN license, CNOR preferred, and at least five years' perioperative experience with two years in management. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five (5) years' experience in surgery as circulator.
• Two (2) years' experience in surgery management which includes pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
• Current Arizona RN License- BLS
• CNOR preferred- Independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• The OR Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals.
• The Manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers.
• This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
• The Manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
• The Department Manager works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals.
• Oversees surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services.
• Assists as RN Circulator and Scrub Tech as necessary.

With 10 ORs and 2 GI Suites our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of: ENT,General,GI,Gynecology,Ophthalmology,Orthopedic,Pain,Plastic,Podiatry,Urology, Our mission is to care for every patient and their family as if they were our own.
