United Surgical Partners International, Inc is hiring a Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at the Arizona specialty hospital. The role includes nursing care during surgery, patient positioning, prep, and case circulation, with emphasis on patient service and infection control.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, Arizona RN license, and CPR/ACLS certification, with 2 OR cases experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two OR experience preferred.
• Current Arizona Nursing License.
• Current CPR, ACLS certified.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics.
• Knowledgeable of OR policies and procedures.
• Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• The Operating Room RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Ideal candidate will focus on excellent customer service, be able to multi-task, show flexibility in assignments, maintain infection control standards, and work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Responsible for helping surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care under the direction of an RN.

Job Summary

• The Operating Room RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
