Job summary

Fox Point Recruitment LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager – Operating Room to oversee daily clinical operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 OR environment at the Sacramento campus.

You will lead nursing staff, ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and budget adherence while partnering with physicians, department leaders, and nursing practice to sustain high-quality surgical care.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required at hire).
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required at hire).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an OR RN.
• Minimum 1 year of formal or informal leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily OR operations to support a 24/7 environment and ensure staffing adequacy.
• Coach and mentor staff; delegate responsibilities to promote growth.
• Manage administrative workflows; track department metrics and budget targets.
