Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in IV Therapy is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, triage member calls, makes patient call-backs for providers and teaches patients.
• Coordinates patient care for admissions, referrals, IV care, OB mom assessments, and pediatrics support.
• Creates monthly staffing schedules and assigns department staff; tracks workloads and overtime.
• Calls in staff to meet minimum staffing and approves overtime when needed.
• Coordinates with clinical teams to cover shortages and adjust provider schedules.
• Serves as a resource, orients new staff and identifies training needs.
