Salem Health is seeking an Operating Room Nurse in Salem, OR. This full-time, 40-hour week, non-exempt role offers diverse surgical coverage across a busy Level II Trauma Center and 18 ORs.

You will deliver intraoperative care, support a wide range of specialties, and work within a collaborative, mission-driven team poised for professional growth. Candidates should have a BSN or higher (or ADN with BSN/MSN commitment), BLS, and an OR nursing background.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• At least one year of operating room nursing experience is expected.
• Current unencumbered RN licensure in Oregon is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intraoperative nursing care for elective and emergent procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient workflows.
• Perform continual patient assessments before, during, and after procedures.
• Support trauma-level cases as part of a 24/7 coverage team.
• Utilize state-of-the-art surgical equipment and technologies.
• Communicate clearly in high-stress environments.
• Engage in education and certification opportunities (e.g., CNOR, CRNFA).
