Job summary

Salem Health is seeking an operating room nurse in Salem, OR. This part-time, non-exempt role supports a wide range of surgical specialties across 18 ORs in a Level II Trauma Center, including elective and emergent cases. You will work two night shifts per week, 7:00 pm–6:30 am, with variable call coverage.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher required; ADN/diploma routes considered with commitment to BSN/MSN within 3 years.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intraoperative nursing care for elective and emergent procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient surgical workflows.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments before, during, and after procedures.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher

Basic Life Support (BLS)
