Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia with active licensure.
• BSN required; if ADN, BSN must be obtained within two years of hire.
• Minimum three years of direct RN care experience; at least one year in an acute care setting.
• Prior staff development and education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and evaluate patient care using nursing process.
• Lead unit-based education and competency oversight for the OR team.
• Coordinate orientation and onboarding activities for new staff and learners.
• Provide formal and informal continuing education and coaching for clinical staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance nursing practice and patient safety.
