Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Professional certification in a clinical or education specialty within two years of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; if ADN, BSN within two years of hire.
• Professional organization membership within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan and evaluate patient care.
• Promotes and supports orientation activities and staff development.
• Provides education for staff and students in operating room procedures and perioperative care.
• Collaborates with surgeons and leadership on education programs and regulatory compliance.
• Mentors and evaluates nursing staff performance and competency.
