Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day position in the operating room. The role requires prior OR experience; circulating and scrubbing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and effective communication with patients and families.
• Ability to work within diverse populations and demonstrate cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver safe, compassionate care in line with Jefferson Health values.
• Identifies learning needs for patients and families and provides understandable, useful education.
• Uses information systems to document care, monitor outcomes, and support clinical decision making.
