Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurses for the Operating Room. This full-time day shift role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with two or more years of OR experience. Eligible RNs join a supportive team focused on high-quality patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications include an accredited RN program graduate, Florida RN license, BLS, and OR experience. Perioperative certifications per unit requirements may be needed at start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License
• Minimum two years of OR RN experience required
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable by unit start date

Responsibilities

• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• RNs with at least 1 year acute care experience desiring to be trained into the OR.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
