Qualifications

• Current active CT RN License.
• Previous OR experience required (Novice nurses may apply to OR Nurse Transition to Practice).
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Independent problem-solving skills.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The OR Nurse functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room and provides individualized patient care.
• Participates in patient teaching and quality improvement activities.
• Supports 24/7 OR coverage through varied scheduling options and teamwork across surgical specialties.
