Job summary

Hartford Hospital’s OR Nursing team is seeking an experienced Circulator/Scrub Nurse to deliver expert patient care in the Operating Room. You will support Neuro OR cases and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements include CT RN license, OR experience, BLS, and CNOR preferred. The role offers a sign-on bonus, tuition benefits, loan forgiveness, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Current active CT RN license
• Previous OR experience required (OR Novice nurses may apply to transition program)
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required at time of hire
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Independent problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• CNOR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• The OR Nurse functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Organizes and administers individualized patient care in the OR.
• Supports neuro and spine procedures with adherence to standards.
• Participates in patient teaching and quality improvement activities.
