Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore is seeking an OR Inventory Coordinator to ensure cost-effective and timely ordering and flow of sterile and non-sterile supplies, services, and equipment to the Operating Room. The role requires a background in Surgical Services and knowledge of OR supplies, instrumentation, and equipment, with interaction across internal and external contacts.

You will transport instrument case carts to ORs hospital-wide.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma required.
• Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in an Operating Room or Sterile Supply environment with extensive knowledge of operating room supplies, equipment, and instrumentation required.
• Experience in procurement, inventory control, and supply chain management also desired.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cost effective and timely ordering and flow of sterile and non-sterile supplies, services, and equipment to the Operating Room.
• Background in Surgical Services, including knowledge of OR supplies, instrumentation, and OR equipment.
• Duties require external contacts, in person or over the phone representing a variety of surgical services or capabilities.
• Transport instrument case carts to ORs throughout the hospital.
