Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at the Burnet Campus in Cincinnati to support medication preparation and distribution across Operating Room and Critical Care. You’ll work rotating shifts with a 40‑hour week, collaborating with pharmacists and care teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of medications.

Applicants must have at least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience, be able to obtain certification within 18 months, and hold an OH Board of Pharmacy

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience.
• Pharmacy technician certification or ability to obtain within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Medication Orders - unit dose preparation for cartfill and first doses, non‑sterile and oral syringes.
• Compounding - prepare non‑sterile, non‑hazardous medications.
• Phone triage for outpatient pharmacy inquiries.
• Insurance adjudication and medical claims tasks.
• Inventory management and ADC replenishment; interface with hospital systems.
