Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to rotate through inpatient areas such as the Operating Room and Critical Care. You will work closely with pharmacists and clinical teams to prepare, dispense, and deliver patient-specific medications.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and urgency. Requirements include a high school diploma, OH Board registration, and PTCB certification within 18 months; ASHP program graduate or Pharmacy Intern status or 6

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active registration with the OH Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be PTCB certified and OH Board of Pharmacy certified within 18 months of hire.
• ASHP accredited program graduate OR licensed as a Pharmacy Intern OR 6 months of pharmacy related experience

Responsibilities

• Medication Orders - Performs unit dose preparation for cartfill and first doses; non-sterile dosage forms.
• Compounding - Compounds non-sterile medications.
• Phone Triage - Performs outpatient pharmacy phone triage.
• Medical Claims - Performs insurance adjudication.
• Inventory Management - Performs medication storage inspections and ADC replenishment.
