Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team at Burnet Campus. You will rotate through inpatient pharmacy areas, closely coordinating with pharmacists and clinical teams to ensure accurate medication preparation and delivery for patients.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and urgency. Requirements include OS license, 6 months of tech experience, and potential certification within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of pharmacy technician experience.
• Be licensed as a pharmacy technician in the State of Ohio.
• Pharmacy technician certification or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail‑oriented, team‑first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through key areas of the inpatient pharmacy, working closely with pharmacists and clinical teams.
• Prepare and distribute medications accurately and efficiently.
• Support medication delivery for patient-specific doses across units.
• Replenish automated dispensing cabinets and maintain inventory.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile medications.
