Job summary

The role acts as a liaison between Sterile Processing and the OR, ensuring equipment is sterilized, functional, and readily available, while maintaining high quality control and patient safety.

Qualifications

• CRCST certification or eligibility preferred.
• Enrollment in a sterile processing program preferred.
• Experience in sterile processing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble surgical case carts with instrumentation and supplies per protocols.
• Coordinate, stock, and pull inventory for emergent and routine cases.
• Ensure integrity of packing, wraps, and containers.
• Act as liaison between Sterile Processing and OR staff for smooth materials support.
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment; ensure sterilization and readiness.
• Maintain quality control for instruments and equipment.
