Operating Room Attendant - Evenings

Overview

Join our team as an Operating Room Attendant, where your primary responsibility is ensuring a safe and comfortable surgical experience for every patient. You will be responsible for ensuring transport equipment is available, sterile, and functional, assisting in patient transportation, and supporting the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport patients to and from surgery efficiently and safely.
2. Ensure all equipment is stored properly and report any malfunctioning equipment.
3. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
4. Identify and prepare patients accurately for transport.
5. Help with turnover between surgical cases and assist the operating team as needed.
6. Communicate professionally with patients, families, visitors, and staff.
7. Attend safety training and adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or related experience in a clinical setting (6 months to 1 year preferred).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Work Schedule

Evening shifts in the United States.
