Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center is seeking an Operating Room Assistant to support daily OR operations in Wichita. You will prepare, assemble, and organize the operating room environment, equipment, and supplies to enable safe, timely procedures.

The role offers 3–10 hour shifts per week (Tue, Thu, Fri). Prior hospital experience is preferred, and part-time employees are eligible for benefits including health, dental, vision and a 401(k).

POSITION

We’re seeking a dedicated Operating Room Assistant to support the daily operations in the Operating Room. This role is responsible for preparing, assembling, and organizing the operating room environment, equipment, and supplies. Under the direction of the Manager, the OR Assistant plays a key role in efficient room turnover between surgical cases and maintaining proper supply levels throughout the department. The position provides essential support to the surgical team to help ensure safe, smooth, and timely procedures.

HOURS

3 – 10 hour shifts per week; Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

Previous hospital experience preferred.
