Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center is seeking a Maintenance/Security Services person for our Wichita facility. You will repair and maintain non-medical equipment and oversee building upkeep while conducting security rounds to protect patients and staff.

The role requires independence, prior medical setting exposure, and a customer-service mindset to support our mission and policies. Full-time, night shift availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or minimum of five years related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Must be customer service oriented and able to adhere to our mission and maintain company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform security rounds to maintain building integrity and safety of patients and staff.

Maintenance/Security Services person needed:

is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of non-medical equipment as well as the routine upkeep of the physical structure of the building. This person will also perform security rounds to maintain integrity of the building and safety of patient and staff as well as coordinating patient activities with nursing staff as needed.

Hours

Full-time, Thursday - Monday, 9:00 pm - 5:00 am.

Must be able to work independently. Previous experience in a medical setting preferred. Must be customer service oriented and able to adhere to our mission and maintain company policies.

Education

associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of five years related experience and/or training; prefer equivalent combination of education and experience.
