Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center is seeking a Maintenance/Security Services person to maintain non-medical equipment and the building, while performing security rounds to protect patients and staff. The role requires independence and strong customer service, with preference for medical setting experience.

The position is full-time with night hours (Thursday–Monday, 9:00 pm–5:00 am) in Wichita. Health, dental, vision benefits and retirement plans are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.

Maintenance/Security Services person needed:

is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of non-medical equipment as well as the routine upkeep of the physical structure of the building. This person will also perform security rounds to maintain integrity of the building and safety of patient and staff as well as coordinating patient activities with nursing staff as needed.

Hours

Full-time, Thursday - Monday, 9:00 pm – 5:00 am.

Must be able to work independently. Previous experience in a medical setting preferred. Must be customer service oriented and able to adhere to our mission and maintain company policies.

Education

associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of five years related experience and/or training; prefer equivalent combination of education and experience.
