Boston Medical Center-Brighton is seeking an Operating Room Aide to assist in transporting patients and supporting the OR team. Under supervision, you help move patients, position them, and ensure safe handling.

You will set up the OR, assist with equipment, clean and restock, and participate in training and meetings. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to aseptic techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to read and write English and work with OR staff.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the operating room.
• Assist with positioning, turning, lifting, and patient handling.
• Set up OR room with equipment and ensure readiness.
• Clean, disinfect, and reassemble the OR after procedures.
• Stock supplies, linen, and equipment as needed.
