Boston Medical Center-Brighton is seeking an Operating Room Aide to assist in transporting patients and supporting the OR team. Under supervision, you help move patients, position them, and ensure safe handling.
You will set up the OR, assist with equipment, clean and restock, and participate in training and meetings. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Under the direct supervision of the OR manager/charge/circulating RN, assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room. Assists in moving patients on and off or tables at beginning and end of surgery, assists staff as needed with turning, lifting, holding and positioning of patients. To perform job functions within the Operating Room in a manner which promotes the safety and health of the worker, coworkers, patients, and visitors to Boston Medical Center-Brighton. $18.42- $27.37. This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
