Boston Medical Center-Brighton is seeking an Operating Room Aide to assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room and support the OR team. Responsibilities include room setup, turnover, equipment coordination, and ensuring aseptic practices.
The role requires a High School Diploma, BLS certification, and strong teamwork. This is a full-time position with opportunities for ongoing training within the OR department.
Under the direct supervision of the OR manager/charge/circulating RN, assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room. Assists in moving patients on and off or tables at beginning and end of surgery, assists staff as needed with turning, lifting, holding and positioning of patients. To perform job functions within the Operating Room in a manner which promotes the safety and health of the worker, coworkers, patients, and visitors to Boston Medical Center-Brighton.
