Boston Medical Center’s Menino Operating Room is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a busy inpatient surgery environment. The 22 ORs serve multiple specialties with state-of-the-art equipment, including a hybrid room and Da Vinci Robotics.
This role requires nursing licensure in MA, BLS, and OR experience preferred; schedule includes 36 hours with days/nights, every 3rd weekend, and call. BMCHS offers comprehensive compensation and benefits.

The 22 Menino Operating rooms cater to our busy inpatient and emergent surgical needs across dozens of surgical specialties. Recent OR expansions mean the most updated and advanced surgical equipment including a dedicated hybrid room, Da Vinci Robotics room, and renovated team spaces. The Menino ORs offer a fast-passed, high-skill, collaborative work environment where you will work in all surgical service specialties with highly trained teammates.
The registered nurse adheres to the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing rules and regulations and is primarily responsible for professional performance and direct patient care. The role encompasses nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients and their families across the healthcare continuum. The registered nurse is accountable for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes using the model of care designed by the nursing department and following established agency policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, and standards of practice
Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
