Job summary

soar-restaurants-sonic seeks a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead drive-in operations and employees, ensuring top guest experience and adherence to standards. You will drive cost control, staffing, and performance reporting while guiding local marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, scheduling, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws; plus ensuring sanitation, safety, and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred.
• At least three years of restaurant management experience, ideally in QSR.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision and managing staff.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge of labor, health and safety laws; strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train and manage staff.
• Manage compensation levels per company guidelines.
• Oversee operations to deliver optimal guest experience.
• Handle opening and closing duties.
• Resolve guest concerns and employee issues.
• Plan and forecast food, labor, inventory for cost control.
• Lead regular team meetings on standards and performance.
• Maintain records and prepare operational reports.
• Develop and manage local marketing and performance plans.
• Ensure maintenance of drive-in facilities and equipment.
• Supervise vendor performance and compliance with policies.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness per standards.
