Job summary

Soar Restaurants Sonic seeks a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead our Grand Prairie drive-in. You will supervise staff, optimize guest experience, and drive performance and profitability.

The role requires managing operations, scheduling, local marketing efforts, and adherence to company standards. This position entails long hours and a focus on leadership and cost control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred.
• At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
• Knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, manage, coach, and lead the drive-in’s staff.
• Manage compensation levels and labor costs per guidelines.
• Supervise all drive-in operations to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage opening and closing duties.
• Handle guest issues and employee concerns promptly and effectively.
• Plan, forecast, and adjust food, labor, and inventory for cost-control.
• Lead regular team meetings to ensure operational standards.
• Maintain drive-in records and prepare operational reports.
• Develop and implement action plans for local marketing and performance.
