Job summary

soar-restaurants-sonic is seeking a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead restaurant operations and team performance in a high-volume drive-in. This exempt role reports to Market Supervisors and drives guest satisfaction, financial results, and staff development.

The GM will recruit and coach managers, manage schedules and labor, oversee opening/closing duties, uphold safety standards, and implement local marketing to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies encouraged.
• Experience: 3+ years in restaurant management, QSR preferred.
• Skills: knowledge of labor laws, health and safety rules, strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, coach, and supervise managers and staff.
• Oversee compensation planning within company guidelines.
• Manage operations to optimize guest experience and cost control.
• Lead opening/closing, vendor management, and sanitation duties.
• Develop local marketing and business performance action plans.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies; maintain records.
