Job summary

Whataburger is seeking an Operating Partner in Fort Worth, TX to lead a restaurant team and drive performance. You will oversee profits and losses, cash reporting, labor, and food costs while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will recruit, develop and retain talent, partner with the Market Leader on operations, ensure food safety, uphold policies, and implement company campaigns and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience budgeting and financial oversight in a restaurant.
• Experience recruiting and developing talent.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety policies and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversees profit and loss, cash reporting, labor, food costs, repairs, and maintenance.

• Monitors restaurant performance with reporting tools and metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Manages profit and loss, oversees financial tasks such as cash reporting, labor, food expenses, repairs, and maintenance.
• Responsible for attracting and retaining talent through key hiring decisions, growth and development plans, and regular performance assessments.
• Works with Managers and the Market Leader to execute operational plans.
• Monitors restaurant performance and processes utilizing reporting tools, customer metrics, and labor metrics.
• Maintains restaurant safety protocols through promotion of all food safety policies, procedures, tools, and systems and creation of a safe work environment.
• Builds relationships with customers and resolves customer complaints.
• Responsible for rollout and adoption of all change initiatives, to include new products, systems, company campaigns and strategies.

Preferred
