Job summary

Bridgepoint, LLC is seeking an experienced Local Front Desk Agent for a local assignment at an upscale, full-service hotel. You will greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, and process registrations using Opera PMS, ensuring smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

The role requires Opera PMS expertise and strong front desk know-how in a fast-paced environment. Weekend, holiday, and evening shifts may be required; weekly pay and hourly compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as Front Desk Agent in a hotel
• Opera PMS experience required
• Strong knowledge of front desk operations, reservations, and guest services
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience handling guest concerns and resolving issues professionally
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a welcoming check-in and check-out experience
• Process registrations, room assignments, payments, and settlements using Opera PMS
• Handle reservations, room changes, and guest account updates
• Respond promptly to guest requests and questions
• Maintain accurate guest records in the system
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure satisfaction
• Answer calls and provide information about services and amenities
• Monitor room availability and manage inventory in Opera PMS
• Assist with cash handling and end-of-shift balancing
• Follow hotel policies and ensure front desk organization
• Support team members and contribute to a positive guest experience
