Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced engineer to deploy, integrate, operate, and sustain mission-critical systems in classified environments. You will work at the intersection of OpenShift platform operations, Rundeck automation, and traditional system administration, coordinating with cyber, network, and program teams.

The role is hands-on with no direct people management, requiring strong troubleshooting across compute, storage, and platform layers.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance required with eligibility to maintain clearance (SCI preferred).
3+ years in infrastructure engineering, platform operations, or sysadmin in enterprise or classified environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters in classified networks.
Provide day-to-day Linux/Windows server support (patching, config mgmt, troubleshooting).
Maintain network infrastructure components (routers, switches) for reliable connectivity.
Serve as escalation point for outages; perform root cause analysis and document findings.
Adhere to security controls and accreditation; assist with audits and remediation.
Diagnose issues across compute, network, storage, and platform services.
