OpenShift Platform Lead — Scale, Secure & Operate

Job description

Own the end-to-end Red Hat OpenShift platform (4.x) across architecture, delivery, and operations for enterprise sandbox, POC, and production environments. Ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available platform aligned with infrastructure, security, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead OpenShift platform architecture, design, and lifecycle (build, scale, upgrade, operate)
• Define cluster standards, reference architectures, and deployment patterns
• Own platform design decisions across networking, storage, security, HA, and DR
• Drive POC to production readiness with clear success criteria and governance
• Ensure Day 2 operations: monitoring, patching, upgrades, capacity, SLOs, and reliability
• Act as primary technical interface with Red Hat and ecosystem partners
• Collaborate across Linux, infrastructure, storage, networking, security, and SRE teams
• Enable secure and simplified consumption of platform services for application teams

Required Skills

• Strong OpenShift (4.x) and Kubernetes expertise
• Experience with enterprise storage (CSI/ODF), networking, IAM, and load balancing
• Proven experience in platform operations (upgrades, scaling, troubleshooting)
• Ability to define and operate large-scale container platforms
