Job summary

Request Technology, LLC is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to lead OpenShift/Kubernetes strategy and build highly available platforms. You will drive automation with Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD/GitOps practices while mentoring senior engineers and collaborating with Security, Networking, and Infrastructure teams.

The role requires extensive Red Hat/OpenShift experience, strong scripting skills, and familiarity with cloud-native patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift administration.
• Extensive experience leading automation initiatives.
• Expert: Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code.
• Expert: CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Tekton/OpenShift Pipelines).
• GitOps: ArgoCD, ApplicationSets.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Observability (Prometheus, Grafana) and container registries.
• Deep understanding of modern infrastructure architecture including compute, network, storage and cloud-native platforms (AWS).
• Strong DevOps practices and ITSM tools knowledge.
