Job summary
Synechron is seeking an OpenShift / MCP Platform Engineer in Charlotte, NC to support application teams with deploying and managing OpenShift and MCP infrastructure. This hands-on role focuses on platform enablement, onboarding, CI/CD configuration, and developer productivity within Agile teams.
Requirements include a degree in CS/IT/Engineering, substantial OpenShift/Kubernetes and Docker experience, YAML/config management skills, and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes container platforms and Docker.
- Experience with YAML configurations, deployment manifests, and CI/CD tooling.
- Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) is preferred and beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage application deployments on OpenShift.
- Create and maintain YAML configurations, deployment manifests, and templates.
- Support onboarding to CI/CD pipelines and deployment frameworks.
- Set up MCP infrastructure and connectivity for AI-enabled apps.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot deployment and integration issues.
