Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking engineers to design, develop, and operate a cloud-scale log analytics and search platform.

You will contribute to OpenSearch core code, work with Java, Python and C/C++, and participate in open source efforts in a fast-paced AWS environment. This role focuses on distributed systems, data storage, query optimization, JVM performance, and security, with opportunities to shape the vision for Search Services and deliver scalable solutions for AWS customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support a world-class search platform for log analytics and cloud-scale data.
• Produce robust, maintainable code in Java, Python, and C/C++ and contribute to OpenSearch/Lucene open source.
• Work on data storage, query optimization, JVM performance optimization, security and more.
