Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is hiring engineers to design and implement security for a cloud-scale OpenSearch platform across log analytics, monitoring and search workloads. You will help secure data, scale services and contribute to both AWS and open-source ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years programming with at least one language.
• 5+ years leading design or architecture of systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or engineering team lead.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support security for a world-class platform serving individuals and businesses of all sizes.
• Build security features for AWS OpenSearch to help customers secure and manage data at cloud scale.
• Work at the core of AWS OpenSearch service and contribute to open source.
• Tackle challenging problems in data storage, query optimization, JVM performance, and security.
• Collaborate with teams to meet security requirements for host logging, patching and vulnerability detection.
• Help shape vision and objectives for AWS OpenSearch in alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.
